We love and appreciate our Veterans and a visit to Soldiers Memorial is an inspirational and educational opportunity to honor them. This beautiful building was dedicated by FDR in 1836 and houses memorabilia from World War I forward. Knowledgeable docents will guide our tour and help us to connect with the tremendous sacrifice made by our soldiers who served to provide and protect our freedom. Lunch is at SqWires, a charming restaurant in Lafayette Square, housed in the restored American Wire Factory.
